Chief Executive Officer
Michael Edwards co-founded Online Performance Marketing in 2006, and in conjunction with the rebranding and name change to Accelerate Online Marketing in February 2018, Michael was promoted to CEO. Michael is responsible for the operations, financials and oversees the Paid Media (PPC) & Search Engine Optimization (SEO) teams. With years of training and development, as well as technology consulting experience, Michael can solve business problems with digital marketing tools, and he serves as a catalyst for client growth. One of Michael’s first projects was designing & developing an online reservation & tracking system for a national photography chain, which allowed customers to make reservations at over 100 retail locations across the country, and integrated the system with the point of sales at the stores. The online system grew to $4M/yr and was sold to the Franchisor after several years. Michael has extensive Paid Search experience, and was responsible for earning the Google Premier Partner Badge in 2016 & 2017, putting the agency in the top 3% of all Google advertising agencies in the world. Most notably, he was able to increase a client’s sales by 3,500% in a 10-month period, growing their digital investment from $300K to $10MM+ annually. A disabled veteran of the United States Air Force, Michael graduated from Wayland Baptist University, with a Bachelor degree in Occupational Education and Training. Michael’s Google certifications include AdWords Search, Display, Video, Mobile, and Shopping. Michael received his coaching credentials from Ultimate Coach University and is a Predictive Index Analyst and Certified Living As A Leader Facilitator. Michael enjoys fashion, traveling, and coaching others to pursue their dreams.
Linda White joined Online Performance Marketing in September, 2009, creating the new position of Business Development Director. Linda was promoted to President with the rebranding of the agency to Accelerate Online Marketing, Inc in February of 2018. She brings her rock star mentality to the Accelerate over oversee sales, account management, content development, social media, and the website design & development team. Her sales management & marketing experience working in the online learning and publishing technology fields have been vital in providing great results for our rock star clients. In her prior agency experience, she worked on developing full marketing strategies for her clients. Prior to joining Accelerate, Linda spent 15 years in publishing, working in the education, corporate, and trade markets. She spent eight of those years in the computer publishing industry, developing strategic programs across multiple brands for national retailers such as CompUSA, Fry’s Electronics, Barnes & Noble, Office Depot, Costco and Sam’s Club. Additionally, she ran national sales forces, as well as developed national service marketing programs. Linda graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Marketing, and is on the Board of the American Advertising Federation(AAF) in Dallas. She enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her kids, her family and friends.
Vice President, Strategy
Toby Adams brings 20 years agency- and client-side integrated marketing expertise working in a variety of industries including travel and tourism, consumer packaged goods, retail, healthcare, insurance, financial services, energy, and direct sales. Toby began his career with the Omnicom family of agencies where he worked at TracyLocke, DDB, Focus, and Targetbase in a variety of roles gaining experience in multiple disciplines. He was later with TM Advertising (McCann) and The Richards Group. Client-side experience includes roles at American Airlines, TXU Energy, SourceHOV, and Regal Ware. Major career accomplishments include:
- Leading the rebranding of Saladmaster, the flagship brand of Regal Ware, a direct seller of premier cookware.
- The strategy for Pier 1 Import’s $150 million online store front.
- The strategy and development of American Airlines AAdvantage “Milestones”, an online travel guide where American partnered with the tourism boards of cities from all around the world to promote travel to those cities via American Airlines.
- The strategy for the world-wide relaunch of Pampers.com and the supporting email program that was critical in helping Pampers regain #1 market share.
Toby and his wife, Lisa, live in Flower Mound with their two Children, Charlie and Chloe. They love to travel, exercise, and spend time with friends and family. Hobbies include gardening, cooking, golfing, and making the best margaritas this side of Mexico.
Director, Social Media and Content Management
Anne Arneson is the Media and Content Marketing Director at Accelerate Online Marketing. Anne joined the agency in 2014 after working for over 15 years at Neiman Marcus Direct as an SEO Specialist, Circulation Manager and Content Writer. One of her responsibilities while there was managing the mailing of the iconic Neiman Marcus “Christmas Book.” Anne attended Duke and Southern Methodist Universities and received a BBA in Marketing from SMU. In her free time, she enjoys watching baseball, volunteering at her church, and relaxing with her family, friends, and four pets.
Director, Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Daniel Thomason joined the agency in January 2015 and serves as the director of our SEO team. Before joining Accelerate, Daniel worked primarily in E-commerce where he developed a wide range of skills including: content creation, penalty removal, copywriting, UI/UX, redesign/relaunch, community building, and other digital skills. Daniel is a graduate of the University of North Texas and enjoys competitive bodybuilding and powerlifting, playing with his dogs, and attending concerts and events throughout the city.
Director, Website Design and Development
Diana Carroll joined the agency in September, 2016 to manage & direct all website design and development. Prior to joining the agency, Diana served as the Marketing Communications Manager for JPS Health Network and the Creative Services Manager for Anderson Hanson & Blanton Advertising. Through her extensive experience in both agency and in-house settings, Diana has developed a plethora of skills including graphic design, copywriting, marketing communications and project management. She attended Dallas Baptist University and the Art Institute of Houston and is currently working to earn her Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute®. In her spare time, Diana enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and her dog, Bella.
