I recently wrote a blog about automated rules and some of the most common uses. Automated rules can save you a lot of time and effort. The only problem was that up until January of 2012, you were limited to only 10 rules per user. But thankfully, we all bothered Google about it until the made a change. You can now have up to 100 automated rules running at a time. This is great news for bigger more complex accounts.
If you’re not sure why anyone would possibly need 100 different automated rules take a quick look at my last blog to see how people really taking advantage of automated rules.
The other change Google made in the past few weeks is that you now have the option to undo changes made by automated rules. So if your rule isn’t quite set up correctly and makes changes you weren’t expecting you can undo those changes by clicking the “Undo” button in the Logs table.
